I Believe

I believe in an all-loving, just, and compassionate God. I know He is in control and that I have nothing to fear. I grew up doubting if He is real and I’m not going to lie, every once in a while, even now, I still ask if He’s there. I know that He saw me and my doubts, my questions. Maybe that is the reason why He decided to make me a living proof of His reality.

Since about 5 years ago, I realized that I am living in a miracle-to-miracle basis. Everytime I look back, I see His handprint and love in my timeline. He orchestrated everything for me. Now when I have fears and anxiety, I remind myself that I need not fear unless I have forgotten how God has led me in the past.

I am a Christian by faith. It does not mean that I am perfect. It means that I am weak but through God’s grace, He is giving me strength to do what is right. I do not always succeed and I fail Him maybe more times than I have made Him proud but His goodness does not depend on me, His goodness and mercy are neverending, they are inexhaustible.

I do not judge anyone who believes otherwise but I request everyone to “taste and see that the Lord is good.” You have got nothing to lose but everything to gain. I choose to believe that we are purposely put in this planet than be a product of random mutation. I would rather believe that my life has a purpose than wander aimlessly.

I believe in a Seventh-day Sabbath, I believe in taking care of my body and keeping it clean because it is a temple of God. I believe and wait for the second-coming of Jesus Christ. I am Seventh-day Adventist.

Most of all, I believe in God’s promises and they give me hope.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Proverbs 16:3

Commit to the Lord whatever you do and your plans will succeed.
